Help Repopularise Ele's. If Anet Wont. We Will.

The Elementalist is supposed to be "The Nuker". It used to be the most popualar class in PvE and PvP until the AoE Nerf. Well...sooooo....How Did the AoE nerf affect PvP?

Most people used to play an ele as a PvE Char, And Played PvP On occasions, When AoE Nuking stopped, So did the ele. Another reason is that once AoE nuking stopped, People had to come up with another solution...They Suddenly reasised that they were blind, and started using SS, Which is 80 DPS.

The elementalist Was advertised as the Damage dealer, But now its seen as wothless by most (single mided) people. The Elementalist Is much more affective as "A support class" like wards, Knock down and snares, and utilizing thier energy (i.e Heal Party).

So Why dosent the Guildwarsguru (admin) Advertise what Elementalists are "supposed to be" (Now, that is.)

You mean when monsters stopped sitting there while aoe pwned em? Oh yea.

This just shows that ele is REALLY the most boring class (at least for me). I mean, as you said, make them less overpowered and look no one plays em anymore. I guess they went to make 55monk.

Anyhow, in pvp eles seem just fine to me. In pve, i bet you didnt complain how difficult it was for a mesmer to find a group in Prophecies.

*shrug* I never get bored when I play my ele o_O And it's not hard to find groups in PvE, either.

Oh, not another one of these damn threads. We already have a thread on the subject of eles. In fact, this constructive thread was born form chaotic, flame-fest threads like this one would become if I left it open.

Please make use of the search function before you post ideas. We don't need several of these.
