help with forum: how to post pics

i tried the paperclip and when i attached a pic from my pc it put it in as a link. i tried to put a pic in from a website using the addy that was in the pic properties and that came up with an error. i want to put pics in my msgs so that they show up. the FAQ dont have any info that is helpful. can someone help?

Well, first of all it will need to be a pic that is already hosted online somewhere. If you have one that is on your computer, go to an image hosting site and put it up there, then get the link from it. I usually use imageshack, but there are a ton of them out there.
Then, there is a little button that looks like a postcard with mountains on it. Press that button, and when it prompts you for the URL, paste the URL of the image into that prompt.
