Fort Aspenwood Mission, Too easy for the Luxions, too Hard for the Kurzicks!!

I think Anet should NERF the Aspenwood Mission for the Luxion side, they have way too much of an advantage over the Kurzicks side, first off the siege turtles and 4 luxion wars per gate, so that is totally unfar, not to mention they all have the best skills, and the luxions are in control of all mines as well, plus the 8 players. Our gate only take two siege hits to be destroyed and the siege turtle fire every 10 seconds.

Our Kurzick win rate is 1 in every 10 games, and that is being conservative. The mission is totally unfair in all aspects, since it is a defensive mission, we should get defensive batteries, or atleast if we control a mine, give us extra bonuses, better yet maybe reduce the luxion NPC's or take away the siege turtles.

I am tired of Anet delibertly sideing with the Luxions on everything, in all PvE and PVP the luxions always have the advantage, and when they don't or if the game area is fair, they do not play their.

I would like a response form an Anet representative on this matter, because I feel this is inside cheating the way some of these missions are set up. That is my opinion on this matter, but play a couple of fort aspenwood missions for the Kurzicks side, and you will see I am right, or as I am sure Luxion players will say stop complaining, because they know how easy it is for them to win and farm easy luxion faction, that they will not want a good thing ruined.

Fort Aspenwood balance?

Carrier defense? How much more imbal can it get?!

I've played both Kurzicks and Luxons, a lot, and the mission is balanced. I rarely lost while on my monk on Kurzicks at Aspenwood

Eh, no offense but the teams you're on must be lousy. I play on the Kurzick side often and win a good portion.

The main strategy is to keep the 2 amber mines outside the gates capped at all times, since the Luxon spawn from there after they cap it. Furthermore, getting amber means you can get those gates repaired pronto. Run amber often. Try to keep the gates up. Most of the time, the Kurzick lose because NO ONE BOTHERS TO RECAP THE MINES AND REPAIR THE DAMN GATES. Furthermore, the Luxon keep zerging from those mines.

I cannot stress this enough, BUT DO NOT GO FOR THE COMMANDER POSTS UNLESS WE ARE WINNING. Killing them when the turtles are out serve no purpose, and they are easy recappable by the Luxon, so why bother?

Also, Distracting Shot can shut down a turtle indefinitely. Just keep a Ranger on it.

Honestly, it really depends how you play. Killing the turtle and keep the warrior alive can stop the respawn of turtle. Killing the turtle is very easy or at least, the life bond trick is very common to hold the gate too. There are so many tricks you can use to defeat luxons.

For me, i have played both sides for many times. My winning rate in luxon is like 90% and in kurzick is like70-80% but mostly we lost, was due to afker. So, you should find a way to beat luxon. Being Kurzick in Aspendwood is not difficult.
