It may be to do with your video card. Yes that has happened to me. What I do is press pritn screen to get a screenshot and that goes away.

Yep happend to me as well with my old videocard ( GF 6600 ). It appeared when I upgraded to a new driver, and then I had the same as you now have. I uninstalled the new one, reinstalled the new one and it was back to normal again

I've never had that, but I get the silver/black latex armour sometimes when entering a town. Mostly I get glitches at the login screen with funky water colours
