Well I only own factions and well I was wondering if someone could explain the difference between the luxon and luxon 15k armour... and if someone could explain about obtaining the luxon 15k armour. Thanks.

There is no difference but the looks, and the price of course. Stats are the same. You can get it in the Leviathan Pits

Luxon 15k costs a whole lot more, looks better (a LOT better to just better, depending on profession/gender) and has no benefits compared to Kaineng City or Luxon 1.5k armour

Looks is it.

Luxon 1.5k - Get at cavalon, costs 24 jadite and some materials. Doesnt look as good as 15k
Luxon 15k - Get at Leviathan Pits, costs 80 some jadite and more materials. looks better then 1.5k, but same stats.

The thing I love about Guild wars is that all equipment is balanced. In other games like World of Warcraft and Diablo 2, theres alot of equipment that are INSANELY powerful. Since Guild Wars is a game that revolves around skill - not equipment - I am satisfied by the fact that equipment is never really a critical factor

I also love the change that specific benfit of the armor tupe does not determine it's looks any more, the crafter determines the "looks" for all faction armor.

You look good in a set no matter what special bonus it has and also... you don't know what your opponent is wearing (special bonus wise).
