Are you seriously suggesting that the price of ecto's and Superior Absorption and Vigor Runes should be made higher so that "less noobs will have good armor haha" and that the +5 Energy Swords should be removed from the game.

yah with fow armor practically getable for everyone....yaya everyone who got the armor earlier should get screwed...look at these numers....
The armor 6 months ago:
Ecto: 1,560,000 gold
Shards:720,000 gold
= 2,280,000 gold for just ecto/shards

A month ago:
Ecto: 600,000 gold
Shards: 360,000 gold
= 960,000 for ecto/shards

Differance: 1,320,000

tell me the people who got the armor months ago (example: me) didn't get screwed...

Sounds like you lost a lot on a HoD sword. Sorry to hear that.

Speculation is the key. Start collecting common and rare materials for the new armor released in chapter 3. You don't always have to invest in the Microsoft and IBMs of the GW stock market (ie Ectos, Shards, HoD sutff etc). Just getting a TON of leather, tanned hides, and cloth thorugh farming or when prices drop again in a few months and waiting for prices to peak with Chapter 3 is a good, safe bet if you ask me.

no im not a junky its just that intelligant people have a good sence of memory...which you may not be familiure with that memory....also why would i write down prices...i just collect the items because im constantly at 1mill gold and dont wana fill up all of my gold space =/

That's what happens when you deal with supply and demand. The prices aren't fixed and they've always fluctuated. It should have occured to you that they might change over time. If prices had gotten much more expensive, let's say 20k-30k/ecto, I don't think you'd be complaining. So you rolled the dice and you've, to a degree, lost.

Besides, you've been able to enjoy and walk around with your FoW armor for 6 months now. Even if you did have to pay more for it you've still been able to enjoy it for a lot longer than someone who just recently was able to get it during the price drop. Just like people who buy greens at a high price when they first come out. Or people who bought mini-pets for a really high price because they couldn't wait a month for their birthday to roll around.

So, no, you're not getting screwed over because of fluctuating prices of ectos.

The prices of things are not up to ANet -- its a self sustaining Economy, It all depends what people buy and sell, how the prices are.

It's not constructive to ask Anet to make you richer and better than noobs. Closed.
