Cities of Ascalon possible for Canthans?

Can the "Cities of Ascalon" quest in Ascalon City be done by Canthan characters? Or any AC quest, for that matter?
(Missions can be done since update, but that's different.)

no it cant. you cant get any quests that are somewhere in ascalon or the northern shiverpeaks. its the same as tyrian chars for cantha, they can access the starter island, but no quests there. this is at least what i heard, but i dont think its been changed.

It hasn't been changed. Also, the Canthan characters can't get the quests outside of Lion's Arch either, as I've been told.

no they get the quests outside LA (visit some lady just round the corner) and others.
