Hammer Mods

So I noticed that the hammer line got some pretty nice skills in factions and decided to take a max req8 15^50 war hammer ive had sitting in storage collecting dust and get mods on it. I was sort of, but not totally surprised to find that two messages in LA was all I needed for about 15 replies, and i found a +30 health grip for only 8k. For my haft I have lengthen weakness duration. Given the slow attack speed of the hammer I wasnt sure if vampiric, zealous, or sundering would even be worth it...but i wanted to hear some opinions from others who are more experienced in the matter. So, what would be a good set of mods for the hammer and why? thanks in advance

I <3 5/1 Vampiric mods. Anything that gives you a sustained boost in power is nice, if you dislike the degeneration just switch out the hammer when your not in battle. IMO Zealous is a bit redundant here, as your attack speed is most likely not fast enough to make up for the energy pip lost.

While a zealous hammer haft does indeed make up for the pip lost, it isn't nearly as efficent as a zealous sword axe or dagger. I swap between a vamp and elemental hammer on my warrior. Nothing else really helps as much.

i use a Furious and sometimes switch to Vampiric hammer. i like furious as it might decrease the chargeup time on the adrenaline skills (backbreaker is a sucker to charge)

I think Furious is, hands down, the best mod for a hammer. Adrenaline is harder to build with a hammer, so the bonus helps.

its pretty hard to calculate a good estimate on how much an zealous will net you because it depends on the battle
but i constantly swap between ebon and zealous hammers and must say when you are getting hits it the zealous seems to be very efficient, with it i could consistantly get in several more irresistable blows per minute
