New SF build... try this
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
First it was in ranger forum, but i guess i skipped this 1, so i deleted it and now its here. In the right place
Today me and 2 friends tried a new Sorrows Furnace build.
3 man: 55 hp monk, R/N, R/Mo
55hp monk HAS to be a pro, and has to have a +20% on enchantings physical damage sword
protective spirit
heal breese
mending
essence bond
baltahzar spirit
blesses aura
bonneti defence
SPELL BREAKER
Ranger/N:
barrage,
whirling def,
savage shot,
trall,
blood ritual,
mark of pain,
well of blood,
rez sig
I had 8 in blood magic (so wells do +3 regen)
15 in marksmanship
7 in curses (so MoP did +24 dmg)
10 in expertise
rest in WS (trall was doin +7)
Ranger/Mo
barrage
throw dirt
savage shot
whirling def
dodge
trall
VENGEANCE
rebirth
How this works:
So oviously, R/N does BR on the monk almost non stop.... the monk HAS to have spell breaker, +20% longer enchants on sword and have blessed aura!
The monk takes aggro, ranger/N then uses MoP on the same mob that monk is attaking, hiting few barrages and then using MoP then on next mob etc. Since all damage is physical, with bararge it adds alot to the damage. But the ranger has to be careful about aggro, as soon as MoP is casted, just run out.
Since the gnashers will try to degen the monk, AS SOON as there is a body make a well of blood to help the monk with hp regen. If there is a gnasher alive make sure you do it before he makes a minion, and have the other ranger have him on target, so if he will try to make a fiend, he can interrupt him, R/N will need alot of energy for a well.
The R/Mo is tere to mainly resurect+interrupt+do more dmg. When monk and R/N die, which will eventually hapen.... R/Mo rebirths both bodies to himself. Then uses vengence on monk. Monk changes armor, to make his hp go up a lot, then dies. Then he can be rebirthed, and go back to low hp
notes: all bows have to be piercing damage. Also for R/N the best option is Zealots bow, and have anouther bow in second wep set. When casting curses and wells, have the normal bow equiped for the +1 energy regearation, but as soon as done, barrage with a zealots bow
After a few tries, we actully got pretty far. It is hard, but rewarding. Too bad i had to leave that graeat party....
Try this and im open to new suggestions

i guess he was runing Bonetties defence before casting. with balthazar spirit adrenaline was never a problem
also, i guess his divine favor wa svery high, + the enchanting mods made spell breaker last. anouther point is that we(rangers) were targeting casters FIRST, then all the wariors and rangers.
but as i said, deaths occur, so its important that R/Mo has rebirth AND vengeance
just came to mind, maby the R/Mo could carry a weak prot spirit, and as soon as monk seems to go "down" cast it
but just tough of it

I'm sure the R/Mo could use apply poison for the degen, to get bosses down faster. As soon as the mobs are killed, he could get apply poison up, and poison the mob, a +4 degen would help in this I think.
The only skill however I can see being replaced is dodge, since it can be not usefull, AFAIK. If the 55hp monk knows how to pull back ennemies, and you guys are either on TS or the monk get a way to tell you that he's going to die, the R/Mo just go back, and prepare to rebirth/vengeance. I did not do it in practice, so I don't know if he really need dodge, but degen would help a lot against bosses and other mobs (is spamming degen on like 3-4 mobs at start better than baraging 5 times in terms of speed killing?).

the poison idea is good. i was actually going to go to try #2 with my guild later on.
i think dodge is important, cuz you know, alot of stone summit rangers. and if monk teling hes going to die, then we both just run back. R/Mo having dodge saved us few times, cuz stone summit rangers guys couldnt hit him and he got away fast enouth to be able to counter bleeding. at normal speed, the wariors would probably stay ob his back and rangers would keep hittin him. thats what hapened to me R/N, but i gotta say, i was closer to "battle" cuz of MoP
and ya, use TS FTW
