I have been using Earthquake and Dragon Stomp lately with my Earth elementalist. I though that using both would be great with Unsteady Ground and/or Churning Earth. Well, guess what! I was wrong. The energy costs on these skills are unessecarily huge, and for the damage they do (even with the knockdown or 16 Earth Magic) they don't deserve 25 energy cost, or exaustion (In my opinion of course). 25 energy without exaustion I can cope with, or even 15 energy with exaustion would be better. Does anyone else share these thoughts or am I alone?

I think the 25 energy cost could stay the same, but please remove the exhaustion. Eles have wayy to many exhaustion causing spells to be any effective in the long run. If you want to keep casting you should only have one exhaustion spell, two of them and youre energy will be depleted.
I seriously think anet just decides to add exhaustion to skills that seemed like they would do crap damage anyways. Look at double dragon, that skill is so horrible it makes me laugh whenever its used!

Yeah, Earthquake, Unsteady Ground and Churning Earth is just too much energy, especially if you're trying to keep any kind of Wards up. However I did once take alot of hi energy spells with me on a pve quest when I found that we had a generous BiPper with us, and had a great time casting a bunch of Earth AoE's everywhere (however the BiP did speak up about how often I was calling for energy as compared to the rest of the group). ^^
