Oh and this should have been posted in the Q&A forum, and yes there is always people asking about this message. Just make sure you don't farm the same mobs over and over again and it won't happen.

When you farm in Guild Wars, you don't contribute to the game, but you still get money. Kind of like getting paid for stepping on ants IRL. Thus you get cut short after a while.
See the difference?

or does it even matter ? nerf or not to nerf is a moralic question and not a question of power, only because my name is bill gates it does not allow me to force people to use internet explorer
A nerf is the downgrading of an item, function, whatever by the admininstration of the game to the from a strong position to the point of inferiority.
A passive code that diminishes drops slowly is not a nerf. You can still farm fine. It is also nothing enforced, as you diminish the drops by farming in the same spot. Most farmers either switch and farm normally, or it and keep farming anyway.
Changing prot bond from 1 energy to a higher level was a nerf. Prot bond is painfully weak now, and in no way can be used in the same setups, without serious compensation for the skill costs.
In any case, RL analogies don't generally carry over. If you eradicate 1000 ettins, you have to assume less of them have shinies. To take an RL analogy that does work, in a war the best troops are often used on the front line. If you kill all the best troops constantly (the mobs with phat lewt), the next ones will be weaker as the lower level ones are brought up (the mobs without good loot).
