Problems with website Ad.

I'm now having severe problems with the ads. If a thread's over one page, it stalls out when trying to load the other pages. When I come to the forum, I'm able to load several threads in their own tabs, but trying to get any thread on the second page of, for example, Riverside (can't remember the rest of the name becaue I'm distraught), to load is a lost cause. Pretty much, I'm good for a few threads of one page, then I'm lagged out, get annoyed, and go elsewhere. This has been going on for 3 or 4 days. Someone help me. *sob*
I'm even forced to use IE to type this out.
I'm a die hard Mozilla user, if that makes a difference.

The last couple of days I've noticed an unusually slow load on the Auction site homepage (mainly). Usually states "Read 'insert ad site here'". Or "Loading" or "Transferring data from " or "Waiting for", typically non-GWG domain names ... Often seems to delay the page by an extra 10-15 seconds at times. I just counted about 5 or so sites involved in loading the homepage (status bar at the bottom).
I'm using FF, latest version. I haven't tried IE, so don't know if it is browser-dependent. Sure look forward to faster service on the Auction site. It's been very useful, but getting difficult to use.
But it is hard to complain much about a free service, staffed by volunteers (who do a great job considering) ... I guess I'll go click some more ad links for them.

Stalling on the banners again

All of the mortgage ones (there are at least 2 variations, maybe a third), but also one of the smaller ads that appears on the create-a-post screen, though I can't remember it.
Though, this could also relate to the rash of database errors I've been getting, which could in turn relate to dropped packets. I know I can't access imageshack, while a friend can, and that seems to indicate a downed hop somewhere along the way, if I understand it correctly.
