Im amazed that people havnt figured out the scam on these yet i still see people shouting in droks all the time to buy them (and more mind-bogglingly, to sell em). The collectors item (5 tusks) sells to mercs for 125 (thats true of all south shivers collectors items) so hes making a profit of 5g per tusk you sell him at 20g

I appreciate people's good intentions (to warn others about exploits), but I'd like to explain why this is not a scam, as I still get bad feedback.
Most people, especially the competent players who farm Trolls a lot, know about the collector in Snake Dance. They simply can't be bothered to run to him, coz the run is tedious, while some other players just can't do it themselves. They are not clueless "noobs" being exploited - it's their choice to sell. And if a "noob" wants to know why I buy them, I tell them (except sometimes to people who open trade and offer to sell on the condition that I tell them what the tusks are for first - that's just cheeky!).
So you see, this is not like buying Stone Summit Badges for 15g in Yak's or wherever.
Anyhow...
