Rangers, can they solo?

most of my cash came from my ranger.....
and i have a W/Mo and a 55 ele

Do you guys have any tips to share? Where is a good place to get chests or where are good places for Rangers to farm?

Honestly I've really only seen a ton of farming come from W/Mo's but I am positive that a Ranger can farm and solo things just as well... might be a bit trickier but hey, we are fast

i've done solo queen farming, minotaurs, ice imp/ice golem, fow, hydra, and trolls. most of which you can find guides for at rangers beacon (http://beacon.wiseelben.com/pve_builds.htm). queen farming was around on these forums a while ago, im short on time so can't look it up.

but to give an additional answer to the topic of this, if your a low level ranger try to make your way to kyrta, go north from gates of kryta to the explorable area scoundrel's rise. mergoyles are rather easy to kill, you can get about 500g-1k a run in drops (not a lot but this is meant for leveling). i leveled my first ranger from 10-17 killing mergoyles.

but general farming: i don't do it much, i generally just get my funds from desert running as i don't spend a great deal of gold.

If you're european, I stongly suggest FoW: that's way faster than UW and you get more cash than with trolls and such.

Just don't mis interpret people telling you to farm outside Ice Caves

I started farming outside Ice Tooth Cave in Northern Shiverpeaks

Ironically it got me a Black Dye

Can you give me a couple examples of what drops there?! I dont have a ton of experience in soloing FoW so the most things I find there are in chests or a random Gold which usually turns out to be not that great

Any rare Skins that people are looking for or just the startard Shadow bow stuff that every ranger and their wolf has?
