best bow skins

i dunno if this thread has been posted since factions but i want to see all of your opinions on the beset bow skins.

here is the complete list(i may be missing a few)

longbows:
amber longbow-
bramble longbow-
celestial longbow-

1. storm bow - despite the drop in demand for these, storm bows are still the coolest looking bows imo.

5. hornbow jade skin

14. celestial bow - many like this skin but it just doesnt suit rangers imo.

* the amber, jade, and dead bows all look very similar. i put the amber at the top because it can be dyed. (looks great in green and silver)

'serpant head skin' is generally said to be dragon skin

i don't consider any to be the 'best.' my favorites are shadow and storm

Personally, my favorite skin is the feathered long bow. Simple, earthy, and won't stick out like a freaking sore thumb if I'm trying to hide in the wilderness!

Well I currently weird a Zodiac Longbow and a Half Moon Shortbow, and I like the skins on these both very much (the main reason I got them).

Personally I would absolutely love a Urgoz's Longbow but I dont think 100k+50 Ectos + whatever else you have to give is worth it. So Ill do the Elite mission in factions until one comes my way

So my top favorites are:
1) Urgoz
2) Zodiac
3) Half Moon

I also really like the Mursaat and Storm bows as honorable mention.

My 3 worst are:
1) Ironwing flatbow (I seriously really dislike this... I know a lot of ppl love it so great for them. IMO its awful)
2) Amber and Jade (really not a huge fan of these two at all. Definitely not worth the price some of them go for)
3) celestial bow (honestly someone explain to me why wielding Rainbow Bright's bow is a good thing)?? These are way overpriced and IMO look horrible. I'd rather have a Zodiac over 2 of these bows.

1. Mursaat Hornbow - Very unique
2. Fleshy Hornbow - Storm Bow shape w/o the plastic :P
3. Feathered Longbow - Simple, but stylish
4. Shadow/Ivory Bow - Again, simplicity ftw
5. Storm Bow - Ya, plastic :P but it's nice anyway

1. Good ol' "dragon" hornbow, i dunno why but i like it.

2. Amber bows, because they dye good, always liked deadbows but those seemed out of my reach.

3. Feathered longbow, because of the feathers and longliness(because it looks like a bow and not a spaceship)

4. Naga longbow, again because it looks like a bow, and i always liked the shortbow skin, these look like extended shortbows.

5. Zodiac bow, ok so it looks like a spaceship, but i kinda like it anyway.

That is a very cool looking bow... I'd like it better if it didn't have the wheels on the ends or whatever they are.

Actually I lied earlier, the coolest looking bow I ever saw was the korean Coke promotion bow... that was awesome. I can't seem to find a pic now, but I remember being intensely jealous.

Side note again- sold the bow for 50k. Ppl tell me if it was req 10 theyd pay 100 +80 ecto for it...*sigh* x 1000

Oh and i changed my mind. Shadow bow looks so awsome with my blk and white set up right now. White 15k druids, blk hair, blk cape, white emblem, blk bear, blk bow. It just looks uber =]

My Fav skin ever has got to be the Amber Longbow, with a green dye:

Looks pretty good I think, especially with the Druid set. Besides, I see too many Eternal and Storm bows, I like *some* variety.

I also like Urgoz's, it would look even better I think. Oh well, I'm not about to pay that much for a bow when I have one with the same stats already in my hands, you know?

The Zodiacs aren't to bad put I prefer the look of that amber bow skin as well as Tryrian skin and storm bows.

Best skins for me is
1. Flesh hornbow
2. Feathered
3. Bramble
4. Shadow
5. Zodiac
6. Stormbow (use it on my characters other than ranger to pull)
7. Mursaat hornbow
Top three are the styles I use on my main ranger others are ones I like but they don't fit my rangers look.

Finesse, there are a few exceptions but most skins are linked to specific bow types.

On the topic, my preference,
Long: Storm
Recurve: Eternal
Short: Half Moon
Flat: Feathered
Horn: Mursaat

Made a ranger and using an Ironwing flatbow. The arc is strange, but Its not that bad. Like an artillery shooting with the speed of an AK-47.

Skins cannot be bought. Skin only refer to the model that displays for that weapon. They are purely an aestetic feature, as many skins share the same stats (ex: Fellblade vs. Spatha, same potential stats, but the spatha looks different.) Above articles explain this more in-depth, with pictures.
