mini pets and pvp?

i've never seen any mini pets used in pvp. can you use them on pvp matches?

Unless you use a pve character in pvp that has a mini-pet I don't see how you can get the mini pet across to pvp-land.

Can't used them in PvP, or within Towns. Only in explorable areas. Making them fairly boring.
