Expanding Storage using access to other character's bags
BeowulfKamdas
Storage has always been a problem and seeing as factions did nothing for expanding existing storage using either an expanded Xunlai Storage facility or better bags...
I suggest allowing characters to be able to access the bags of your other 3/5 characters. So, for example, my PvE warrior can access the storage of my PvE ranger's bags using the Xunlai Storage Agent or another agent all together.
This will make a lot of stuff easier.
1. You won't have to sign on and off to transfer items between characters.
2. It will facilitate the use of character mules (characters created just to look pretty and hold onto excess storage).

Rumor has it that expanded storage is on the horizon.

I hope so, the current storage system is such as pain to use.
I often find my self logging off and on to get items from different characters. Being able to access their bags would be very helpful.

wouldn't mind more storage (who would?) but the limited storage itself is strategical. It makes ppl sell stuff and not let the economy die down. still...

Yeap, I actually thought of this myself when I was logging in and out of my 2 accounts (total 10 characters!) looking for one item. It is such a royal pain.
Anyway prism, who is that head in your avatar?

/ubersigned. Maybe this is the (smarter) storage they are talking about.

I think that extra storage will come in the form of the extra character slots that can be purchased, and the new profession type of Mule or Slave.

Anyways, I don't really see any problems in implementing a feature like this one and it would really cut down on the number of times people disconnect and reconnect to transfer items.

I like this idea and think it needs to be revisited as a potential solution to our storage issues.

The idea is great, but I think they should also increase the main storage by 25 for each character slot your account has. This could be done with tabs at the top of the main storage.
It may sound like a rediculous amount of storage, but I could easily fill 25 slots with a single character alone. I tend to save alot of runes that are salvaged from items, weapons/armor for different builds, and lots of dye.
Of course Anet would never...EVER do that, since it would actually make sense. So if they just copied WoW and made 5 bag slots that held 25 items each, I would be happy.
