wintersday event if there is one this year

i was thinking if they do wintersday where will it be hold. because there will be 3 chapters of guild wars by then if they stick to the 6 months realease. but which one would they hold the wintersday in.

I geuss the new capitol of chapter 3 holds the event and major cities will be all snowy again (i loved wintersday)

Should be in Lion's Arch seeing as they didn't delete the Wintersday files after it but rather just patched over them. At least, that's what I've heard from a friend of mine who was angry about the hard drive space it wastes when he discovered that.

He'd have extra reason to be angry if they are never going to use those files again yet they are to remain on his hard drive forever.

I sure hope he bought Factions then

I think they would just do it in the battle isles, a place accessable for most people I think. ( except those with a full account in presearing etc. ) It's also the only common place between all the chapters.

since there will be people who have only 1 of the 3 chapters AND it was posted that halloween/winterday would be back next year therefore the chapter 1 places will repeat and the other places will get it also.

If they do it in places for all 3 chapters, then that'll be a lot of work. Just think about it when there'll be 5, 7, 9 chapters...

they only have to add one at a time and reuse the rest.

I wouldn't be surprised if any goodies were only given out in the newest chapter. They may decorate all 3 places, but they'll want to use this as marketing too.

Halloween had LA, Droks and Tombs decorated.
For Wintersday they added Ascalon.

I think with more chapeters they would just decorate the main city for each chapter. I would also think that it would make sense to decorate Ascalon and the Monastery since people who still did not reach LA or Kaineng center would be left out.

imagine winterday in the slums! they should have it in the Marketplace juys so they can have tiny tim or something like that hehe... i wounder if they will have cc's in faction wintersday. if they dont im jus gonna go back to prophecies instead.

if you want a public relations disaster then i agree with you.

if you want happy people playng they will all get the same item trading set so people dont feel pressured to buy the latest chapter to get the best goodies

marketing by alienating the people who dont have it will not work.
