i wasnt sure who to believe so i made a new character and got the quest. well see for yourself:

That Reward: never tells the full stats on items.

yea you never see the FULL stats, you just get it... Everyone always goes into a panic when people see this. if they haven't rid the system of the possible 55 monk build yet, its not going to happen... If anything they made the 55 more useful in fact with the new factions skills for the build... so I would not worry... I still use mine in underworld with No problem. But I'm rather conservative with it and don't over do it. In all reality Anet has gone way out of their way to eliminate the overt NEED to 55 farm. its still there if you want to do it, but its much more fun and rewarding just to play as designed instead of farming anymore...

UW... 60min best possible outcome is AVE 3 to 4 ecto and maybe 1 gold chest...

60min Alliance farming, nearly 20K in amber or jade, and or several chests with potential gold items, as well as some areas that contain several green weapon drops from bosses...

All in all its about the same return which ever you do, but the quality of your weapon drops will be better in the deep south regions of Cantha over that of the underworld. And Cantha offers a variety of things to do for farming efforts, up to and including PvP action. and that's got to be a huge plus...
