I actually do like the concept of this idea, but I am not too sure about the impact on the game.
Although you have created some drawbacks with identification and chests, that would take away some gold sinks in the game (we all know a lot of people buy keys.) Customized items? Salvage! Plus, unlimited keys can create designated 'chest testers'.
I like most of the other ideas, such as the map, hero screen, and the /death emote. They have no adhearant effect on the game, and would be quite entertaining.
Perhaps they could implement only some of the features, seeing that some can put imbalancing issues into the game.
