55 Ritualist build, and discussion

Well i have came across an assortment of ritualist 55 builds, but they all use restoration as their main atrribute, which 99% of them use Vengeful was Khanhei, don't get me wrong but Khanhei is an awesome skill and i use it frequently on my Rit/Me farming build, but when you cast khanhei with a 55 build you loose your cesta and sword as you would be holding ashes, thus resulting in 105hp.

You've got the right idea of putting max on Channeling, below is a build i think that could work very well.

Balthazar's Spirit

Doing a spike of Clamor of Souls and Ancestor's Rage should do around 228dmg, with casting Splinter Weapon afterwards would do another 53 to each surrounding enemy, so around 300dmg being dealt to each enemy.

Note: This build has yet to be fully tested, the pictures shown are in relevance to the attributes shown above, these pictures are in aid for the newer players.

If anyone wishes to test this build then give me some feedback, i would be grateful as i am in work at the moment and can't access Guild Wars from my office.

Have to remember that your doing lightning damage though which will be greatly reduced by most things that attack at melee range, that said you could compensate for this by continuously spamming the channeling skills to dish out damage. Also does'nt clamor of Souls require allies in the area to be an effective source of aoe firepower ? I would be tempted to work in spirit rift too if i were to run this, but i cant (just dont like running 55 builds sorry :P ).

clamour counts u as an ally i think

Clamor uses yourself aswell, i tested it a little but not much.

unfortatly using vengful ashes still does more DPS for a muhc lower energy cost, and increases your tanking abiliy though the roof



you'd be better off with the Elite 50 Dmg = KD ashes if your going solo, as clamor is pretty useless without allys
