Spell Breaker makes spells fail.
This means they get to cast their spells (and therefore loose energy) but the spells don't connect.

Obsidian flesh : you cannot be the target of spells.
They cannot target you, therefore they don't cast and dont loose energy.

Furthermore Since the enemy gets to cast his spells (Spell Breaker) he is vulnerable to interupts, and other niceties like Spitefull Spirit and Backfire.

Is this all correct ?
Can someone tell me pls.

That is correct. Spell breaker is far superior in counter offense purpose.

Obsidian flesh is really... a pure defense skill. The +20 armor helps a litte, however the 50% slow down is just asking for it.

See, ele got all the love.

spellbreaker doesn't allow interrupts, but it still gets triggered by ss and such i think

Spell breaker dont allow interupts... Just as the enemy tryes to cast, it "disconnect" the spell.. Like this: Monk has SB on him.. Elementalist try to cast Fire ball on him, but imidiatly after clicking the on fireball, he recive the message, "Targed is Protected by spellbreaker" So he lose the energy cost of the skill, but he dont use the 2 sec cast time.. it stops him from casting right away..
And, i belive that Obsidian flesh works the same way.. even tho the discription is a little different..

You're correct on how Spellbreaker and Obsidian Flesh works when someone is targeting you with a spell. SB makes them lose energy, while OF doesn't.

However I'm not too sure what you mean with Backfire and SS. If you already have Backfire on you before you cast SB, then Backfire will continue to do its job until it's gone. SB can't do anything to prevent the damage Backfire causes. It's the same thing with SS and OF. Of course, neither Backfire or SS can be cast on someone with SB or OF.

Spell interrupts, like Power Spike, won't work while either SB or OF is on. Physical interrupts, like Distracting Shot, will work.

On a side note, Shadow Form works like SB in that enemy casters will lose their energy when they attempt to cast.

SS or Backfire trigger only when the casting of the spell ends, which means if they try to cast a spell on someone protected by OF or SB, it won't trigger Backfire or SS.
You lose energy when trying to cast on someone with SB on. You don't lose energy while trying to cast on someone with OF on.

Obsidian Flesh is a PvE only skill. Its great for tanking, I have an earth ele tanking build that can outperform any war one.
