This guy is to be a ranger for a table top game... but I think his description and the way I rendered him, he turned out to be more like a warrior that would fit in nicely in Tyria.
Here is DR's ranger character.

My guess the game you are refering to is D&D(Dungeons and Dragons) correct? If so then I have to agree he looks more like a Warrior/Fighter then a Ranger. Rangers were leather armor or like metal made armor like chainmail and often use a bow or shortsword. The one in the Player's Handbook 3.5 shows a elven ranger in full studded leather armor and dualing weilding a longsword and a shortsword. But to be honest it all depends on how you want him to look.

I have no idea what game system the character is.
But if it was GURPS or Hero or another generic system, then it really doesn't matter, you pay the points, you can have the character you want. The patron called the character a ranger, but wanted the sword and breastplate and the colors picked... it was a very specific request.
Who knows, he might use a sword and breastplate but be a damn good tracker.

Yeah i'd be inclined to agree with this. Maybe the sketch wasn't, but that's not our place to guess as it's not there to see
Looks very cool though. His cuirass looks ever so slightly off but i can't pin it, nothing too much to worry about or notice though. From a personal standpoint i would have added some rolls of cloth bunching up around the bottom of his cape though to make it look like it was a tad longer and hitting the floor. As it is it looks as if it's just the perfect length all around to float just above the floor, hehe. Of course its all preference, you may like it like that (or more importantly, your employer).
