I'll second the SS/Empathy Mesmers. Because if I'm not a Sword Ranger with Flurry, I'm a Barrager with Tiger's Fury. Either way, toast.

I fear a competent mesmer when I'm playing any other class, frankly. When I'm playing mesmer, i've got a chance at least. :P

Mesmer. By far. Anybody's worst enemy is a mesmer in 1v1. A mesmer's worst enemy in 1v1 is a hammer war. Backbreaker+ Crushing+Irresistable=dead squishie.
