Environment: Many rumors are going around that it is some Egyptian type of environment theme. For the most part quotes from numerous online sources such as 1up.com and IGN.com states a similar type of environment viewed at a sneak peak in E3.

Though team isn't quite ready to start revealing details of the game, they were willing to show us a very impressive trailer...
Starting on a rocky beach, the demo focused on a somewhat run-down dock and a massive, swan-shaped ship with sails that looked like dragonfly wings. From there the game transitions to a North Africa style savannah. Green trees, rocky outcrops and gaily painted mud huts decorate the landscape. We soon traveled to a very interesting windmill that had a hawk-like figure on its top. By far the most beautiful visuals came when we moved to a massive stone city. Decorated with golden minarets and lush gardens, it looked like the perfect place to relax. There's also a magical touch here as some of the plants actually hang in the air. Water cascading down from them into crystal clear pools gave the whole area a really mystical atmosphere. |

the new expansion will take place in a North African-themed world. The architecture and locations look inspired by Tunesia, Morocco, and the savannah

Among the new creatures and NPCs we saw dervish-like robed and masked desert people, a bunch of monkeys riding some kind of tusked hippo, and a giant flatworm. Yeah, we want to squash that.

One was an enormous flat worm-like beast rearing up from under the sand that dwarfed the warrior on a horse that fought it. Other creatures included a yak-like ungulant with four horns and a strange alien creature with six limbs that looked like they could do double duty as arms and legs

There were only two sketches of the new professions shown, one being a white robed woman wielding a wicked looking double bladed staff, and an unarmed bald monk-like man, possibly a bare-knuckle combat class.

As for the expansion if they do keep with their 6 month schedule you can expect it in october, but since these things are rarely on time and they would probably find it much more profitable to release in time for christmas. I'd say it would release late november.
