Need a Suggestion for ATI Graphics Cards

Hi ive been looking around to buy a *newer* card for my PC.... nothing fancy, just enough to replace my 5200FX(yes I know olddddd). It's not a great PC, 1.6 ghz, 512 ram... but it runs a bunch of games on low... that and GW :P

ATI AIW 9800 PRO 128MB Video Card

I know nothing about ATI cards but I see massive discount :P Would someone who knows of ATI cards tell me more about this card

That sir, is a VERY expensive price for an old card (the 9800 is about 3 years old its self)

After discounts it isn't a bad price, from what i've seen in some other places. The non-discounted price is almost certainly just fluff, so that people think they are getting a really really good deal.

It's an AIW, which may boost the price tag... but then why not go for the AIW X800XT, double the performance and all...

100 bucks would be a good price for that... The new hot thing is the XT.

thanks guys, as I said I know very little about the ATI line... I have been mostly using geforces :P I saw the price and was curious
