I suppose maybe a reference to the biblical story of Adam and Eve. However, the fact that she insists it speaks to her is a bit obscure still.

Yeah, the only thing either manual mentions is where the Factions manual says she keeps it with her all the time and claims that it "speaks" to her.

If you ever see her in game with it, it'll probably act like a cesta/focus, I think you're looking into this too much. It's just to add to her character how she isn't a "normal" person (with the way she speaks and interacts with it, hearing voices), but IMO her personality is very attractive.

I realise that but with the skull there isn't much mystery behind it, everything is explained in the manual, I really think it's just there to add to character.
With the other topics like the titan effigies within charr territory they have no explaination etc.
