Mesmer or Ritualist

All of my char slots are full. I have a lvl 20 Mesmer. I want to make a Ritualist but room isnt there.

All i ask is that i get your opinion on which you would keep/make.

Keep the lvl 20 prophicies mesmer or create a Ritualist.

I'd keep the mesmer, personally. If for nothing else, then the mini-pet. Besides, Mesmers are very powerful characters despite the hatred some players have for them.

Also, A.Net has said they are going to offer additional character slots for about $10 this summer, so if you can wait a month or so...

Well, think about this... mesemer is a core class, ritualist is a faction exclusive class.

If you want to gamble, it is highly likely that there will be no new ritualist related stuff within the next 2-3 chapters (they might put ritualist in another chapter in order to give it more stuff, but for now, faction is it).

So, your mesemer may end up with 600+ skills with 20+ different armors, while your ritualist would end up with uhh... 2 sets of armor and whatever you get in faction.

So, in the long run... core class > exclusive. Of course, this is just an assumption, and an assumption I certainly hope is wrong.

You can have a character made 20 lvl in factions by 2 weeks, if you play +/- 3 hours a day, or less. It doesn't make any special deal if you remove the mesmer. I usually have 5 characters, and 1 slot for a pvp character.
If i feel like removing a character, then i remove it. If i don't want to remove it, its because i have some emotional chain between me and that character, lol:P
