Need info about "lowered" drop rate

Hey,

I've been farming a lot lately and I know there is a "Your drop rate is lowered" thing. And i need some info about that. Here's the questions:

1-) How many times can i farm the same boss with no lowering drop rate straight?

2-) How does the clearout thing is working? What should i do for clearing that?

3-) Does this affect identifing rare items mods?

As long as you don't engage in bot-like behavior, you should be fine. Just kill everything in the area like normal.

2. go to town, and wait 5 mins

Actually I don't think this applies too bosses, but definetely with minotaurs or trolls cuz I used to solo xuekao repeatedly every 1 min and I got a handful of daggers =P

What would happen if we killed a few monsters in the middle of a map?

I once uberfarmed the trolls for 8 hours straight, nonstop.
I got black, silver dyes, a gold fellblade (15% vs hexed), several gold scrolls back when they were still worth 800g+ after identifying (now with the stacked scrolls they are worth LESS >.<), keys, craploads of raven staves etc...

I still don't believe that there's such a thing as an overfarming code.

However, I once had 18 purple chests in a row after farming just the chests.
This seemed like a an overfarming penalty if it wasn't for the fact that I got about 20+ gold chests in a row after that (tried to get a 50gold streak)
Lots and lots of perfect daggers, 100k+ worth swords, axes, shields.

I still don't believe it exists.

it exists, if you activate it the game gives you a pop up warning box

ya when i was doing trolls w/ my 55hp after the 6rd or 7th run items were just not dropping. first run a tusk or staff. second same, a gold or two and same for 3rd 4th and then it slowly declined.

zoned up the springs for 3 or 4 runs and then back down for trolls and the trolls were still dropping nothing.

never got the message but like the SS above says "there loot will decline"

ya 5 or more times, and i want to say even less if your can do it faster (like kill the boss in 1 min, rezone, kill, rezone. proably won't kick in the farming code because of the amount of time it takes to clear out and how your not just killing the same exact mobs.

I never really cleared(solo) out 1 area and rezoned. Got bored after 20 mins and started to fall alseep. no farming or the code does not affect the item. Well from my experance.
