Idea: Adding to the Log-in screen

I was just thinking about something someone said on another thread. It was to have a Title related log-in screen. Like have a compass rose and maps with cantha or tyra on them for getting the explorer title in cantha or tyria, or a giant shield floating around in the water, kind of like the whale.

Not to steal this person's idea, but I really liked it and wanted to make it known to others what she had Tthought up kind of. I cant rememebr her name or find the thread I saw the idea in.

Those rewards are tied to the character and player that earned em. I really don't want my friend to show off that he got Tyrian Master Cartographer just because I played the game on his computer. He can earn that title himself. Anyway, you have the title ingame and can show off there. No need to add this to the Log-in screen.

Maybe itd be on the screen that you see when you LOG IN (IE: the log in screen). So it WILL only be for your account.

Rather than start a new thread re: changes to the login screen, one thing I wish we could have on startup is a Game Updates tab to the right that shows us the most recent GW update. Like the other collapsing menu options there, just add a Recent Updates one.

There are far more useful things to be changed than adding icons to the login.

Anyway, why would you bother with icons on the login screen when only you can see it?

No one seems to like my other ideas, if you have something more useful in mind that would help the game(e.g. give it more depth) then go on throw it out there, but this is what this thread is about. So: If you dont like it go waste your time somewhere else... >.>

I had intended this to be for the screen after you log in btw...

I, for one, enjoyed this idea. I like the idea of having even more account customization.

That's what he's talking about. It's there before you even access your account. So how can it be for your account only?

It's actually not a bad idea. Now that I think about it, instead of the log in screen how about the character create and select screens for these additions?

Actually...the screen you see after you log-in or where ever, I just thought it would be interesting to have.
