Okay first off I have three Rangers. One set for damage\distracting, second one set for War Prime and my third one set for straight damage. Problem is my R/A Damage Dealer is now at Lvl20 and nearly set. Seems I have 15 Attribute Points left over and no where to put them. I actually deal some pretty damn good damage as is but yea that extra 15 kinda irks me. Here are the current stats.

Expertise: Hunter's + Major Expertise + 10 = 13
Wilderness Survival: 5
Marksmanship: 10 + Major Marksmanship = 12
Shadow Arts: 9

My skills on my bar are:
Apply Poison(Kindle Arrow instead incase I do Missions\Quests like Nahpui)
Hunter's Shot
Determined Shot
Savage Shot
Viper's Defense(Damn good skill for Rangers)
Shadow Refuge(Good for battles that drag on and get real ugly and nasty)
Dash(Good for a quick escape or to catch up with other players)

the biggest problem I see with this R/A "Damage Dealer" is its just a standard R/X "damage dealing" build, which is quite pathetic when compared to say... an adreneline spiker.

I think, drop the bow, go into daggers and see what you can do there. You have R/A for a reason... use the secondary to do something special (like R/W's) that no other secondary can.

You are right about it being a standard damage dealer build. I need to get a Zealous Dagger Tang though to really make a R/A Assasin Prime build shine though. *sighs* ZDTs are so costly at the moment though.

^i agree with him/her (you never can be sure)

you are not realy using any assassin skills to boost your damage and i bet that troll ung could easily beat shadow refuge because it dosn't last long and you are most likely running when you use it so no healing bonus while attacking and switch dash to dodge even 4 secs dodge beats 3 sec dash, but idk about viper's defence because it actualy fits in if you are using bow...

i say switch to daggers and try to create some kind of combo with 4 or more hits if you realy want to use R/A...

Hate viper's def, if you're using a prep or any skill when you're hit, you get teleported and in the process of teleporting you get interrupted, and it just wastes time and energy..

I used GWFreaks to calculate the exact stats I would need for a Assasin Prime Build using R/A. Here are the stats which would work for me.

Straight Build - No way to use Beastial Fury:
Expertise: 10 + Hunter's + Sup Expertise = 14
Wilderness: 8
Dagger Mastery: 12

High Speed Build - Uses Beastial Fury at the expense of +7 Health Regen with Unguent:
Expertise: 10 + Hunter's + Sup Expertise = 14
Wilderness: 6
Beast Mastery: 6 + Major Rune of Beast Mastery.
Dagger Mastery: 12

Not sure which build is the best though. With build #2 I can generate energy much faster with a ZTD and Beastial Fury BUT I lose a total of 107 Health with the Sup and Major runes combined. I feel build #1 is a safer way to go.

Double post I know.

After some testing a Assasin Prime is actually quite weaker than I had thought. A axe can outdamage a pair of daggers anyday when the weapon mastery is maxed at 12. I am better off using Shadow Arts skills to complement a Ranger Prime build.
