Moving to Tryia
Markrids
Do you think If I started a new character in Cantha, got to roughly lvl 15 with the 30 ar=ttribute points, then moved to tryia to complete the game that I would lose out on a lot of Prophecies and spoil the experience?

Most people already had max armor when they did prophecies (droks runs), and I'd hope they were already or nearly lvl 15 by LA. It's easier getting the 30 attribute points in Cantha anyways, so I'd say go for it.

Not that many people do Droks runs. You can always work backwards from LA anyway. To be honest LA is not halfway through the game.

and a couple others back to ascalon for the fun of it.
i did the few quests on the mainland to level 20 and simply ran back from Lions Arch with no problem
if you havent done chapter 1 take your favorite profession and do it for the fun of it (start a character there )

I got it the day Factions was released, before people started thinking of doing it, of course, it was worthless then, lol...
Start in Cantha and go to Tyria, go back to Ascalon if you really want, it's easy after playing in Factions for a bit, lol.
