trade channel split

it's a very simple idea - split the trade channel into two - buying and selling. that way depending on what your doing you can tune the majority of the clutter out (if you trade in kaineng dist 1 youll know what i mean).

i know people will always post stuff in the local chat but this will make it a bit better, also, if people start to realise that were only monitoring one channe, the'll start to post in the correct channels.

You haven't got a lot of replys on this post, but I was thinking about the same thing.

Why not a buy channel and a sell channel ? If some sort of auction house won't be implemented, why not two trade channels. I hate the WTS spam of others when I'm selling. Switching it off will mean I miss the WTB's of others..... And whispers won't be missed anymore because of the WTS flood.....

Good idea in theory. However in practice people will turn off the trade chats then put trade spam into local.

So unless you can figure out how to get people using the trade channel in the first place, this will do nothing.

This adds nothing, much like using the new Search Menu for buying/selling.

The intentions behind your idea are good, but I think it would just give spammers another place to spam. For example, WTS spammers would spam in the WTB channels...and that alone would defeat the purpose of split channels.
