best mesmer skill/at+ weapon set

i use domination magic but everyone seems 2 use illusion magic shud i change to it and what is the best greens 2 go for

Since when does everyone use Illusion... have you visited the Mesmer section in the Campfire recently?

Just because everyone is using it, doesn't mean it's the best. Play with the skills you like Besides, there's a billion people using domination. Do what you want, don't just "follow the herde".

It all depends on what you want to achieve from your build. If you want to manipulate or lower the effectiveness of your target then use illusion. If you want to damage them HP wise use domination.

If mesmer is your first character ever. I suggest a different class. It requires a lot more knowledge about area effects, monster skills, profession types, interruptable skills, etc.

Be a trendsetter and go all Inspiration! It'll be awesome.

How could I forget to mention inspiration? xD Inspiration is great for builds that are used to support a team. Me/N make a great enchantment stripper or condition spreader, Me/Mo for Hex removal and it generally goes on like that.

<Sigh>.......Broaden your horizons when it comes to thinking about what to do with your Mesmer. Don't think of it in terms of what attribute to maximize, but rather what STRATEGY do you wish to employ. Shutdown, Degen, E-Denial, etc......are all good strategies depending on what playing style or situation you are in (PvP, GvG, PvE-General, PVE-specific mission or quest, etc....). Let the strategy dictate where to put the attribute points and what to max out in or not max out in. The Campfire section has plenty of good advice on different strategies......
