E/Me

I have a lvl 20 E/Me. I just can't seem to get past the defend north kryta quest. It is really difficult to get a team together to do this quest, so i was wondering if anyone could help me out by giving some strategies that i could try to complete this quest. Thanks.

It was pretty easy when I did it. Professions that make it easy imo...

you - E/Me - the earth titans are weak against fire, maybe the other titans too.
Mesmer - good to have in party, as there are alot of things that cast spells
Monk - heal and protect the NPC along with party members
Warrior - to smash things, and hold aggro
Ranger - traps maybe, or fiery arrows, barrage, interrupts
Necro - good if using minions or for battery

another example of a quest/mission where nobody thinks to take a mesmer. But when I did it, it seemed to go pretty fast and easy with one, as opposed to without.

A mesmer definatly. Power Block > Single attribute titans.

I failed this twice on my warrior, then we found a 3rd monk and did it flawlessly.

A Martyr Bonder is a good 3rd monk, 2 monks handling the main healing and protection etc. The bonder reducing the overall damage and clearing away Disease, Poison, Blind and Weakness w/ Martyr.

Just make sure your interrupter knows his priority. Lingering Curse must NOT be cast ever. Well of Suffering should be avoided if possible too.
I Will Survive is good for the tank(s).
A general fire build is good. Meteor Shower works wonders on Titans that appear right after you kill a Wild Growth, other than that its limited though. Ele Attunement + Fire Attunement and general masses of fire AoE spamming should do the trick just as well.
If you really wanted to take the piss. See if the ranger could bring Winter and Greater Conflagration and get everyone to go /Mes and bring Mantra of Frost Probably a bit too much for a pug though...
