Balthazar Faction Based Titles

Really simple actually, have titles for total faction earned, You can be a freind of the Luxons/Kurzics, and show off your faction spent with them, why not for Balthazar?

I understand that you can't gain any more faction once everything is unlocked but seeing as there are new expansions every 6 months and new skills constantly being added, then maxing out faction isn't too big of an issue.

Thus I present my title!

100k - Alligned with Balthazar

500k - Adherent of Balthazar

1000k - Devotee of Balthazar

That thread talks about RENAMING balths faction to heroes faction and does not say anything about titles for heroes faction.

I want titles for faction gained in RA/TA/HoH, regardless of name...

The 5th idea presented in that thread is not my idea, I merely placed it in there because it was suggested by someone.

I don't see anything wrong with this idea, but I think that there are more important things that they need to impliment into the game before they add something like this.

Won't work.

Balthazar faction hits a cap when you unlock everything. Kurzick/Luxon faction does not. Essentialy for people to reach the highest teirs they'd need to buy multiple chapters(ok competitive PvPers are already going to do so... but your casual gamer won't).

There is a suggested method for Balthazar's Faction to be redeemed into Obsidian Shards, which means there will be no limit on how much Balthazar's Faction you can earn.

Plus, it is also suggested that the player gets a title based on how much Balthazar's Faction that they redeemed.

The cap being removed from the ideas on your thread will only work if the Shard reward is implimented. Since this would encourage people farming RA, or tanking their guilds rating, climbing to say 400ish, then tanking their rating again, so that just won't work IMHO.

It is also suggested that Baltahzar Faction go PvE-Only, and existing Balthazar faction be changed to Heroe's Faction, which if implimented will leave us in the same situation as is now.

So until there's a suggestion put forth that won't encourage farming RA/GvG(since they're the only places where you can be sure to not get quality opponents ok... there's HA too) for money, and also get rid of the faction cap, there's just no hope for a faciton based balthazar faction title, IMHO.

No, You said to change balthazars faction to be something earned elsewhere and giving titles for that, your so called heroes faction (balths faction renamed) had no mention of titles.

Now as for the cap, there are new expansions every 6 months, as it stands it is possible to hit 1mil and still have room for pve unlocks. I haven't done the exact number exactly but the max is around 1.4million.

People who are maxed out currently can earn this title when the expansion comes out. Just like how the elite skills track can't be maxed yet.

5. Current Balthazar's Faction renamed to Heroes Faction (PvP unlocks)
As suggested by Dougal Kronik, the current Balthazar's Faction is to be renamed into something else, and these factions are to be used for PvP unlocks.

The balthazars faction that's renamed has no mention of a title! Good lord! THAT'S WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT!

I dont care about that system, I dont care about how he's changing this and that! I just want a simple little title that shows how much balthazars faction I've redeemed, not this hero faction he wants to rename it to or what your turning it into!

Excuse me, here you come shoving this large and unwanted idea into my thread, highjacking it, I dont want all of that, I just want a title system for balthazars faction as it exists now, No fancy changes, none of that, I dont care who came up with it, point is it has nothing to do with this idea whatsoever!

edit: You can imagine I'm very frustrated by you and that so called idea. It has no mention for for titles earned through PvP play other than heroes faction (for pvp unlocks, WHICH IS WHAT IM EXPLICITLY TALKING ABOUT), and you mention nothing about titles for that!

Is that so hard to understand?

Your idea has already been suggested before, in the thread that I mentioned.

If you can read:

2a. Balthazar's Titles
Allow players to gain titles based on how many factions they have earned with:
- Balthazar
- Grenth

For example, redeemed:
- 100,000 Balthazar faction : Balthazar's Footman
- 200,000 Balthazar faciton : Balthazar's Squire
- 500,000 Balthazar faciton : Balthazar's Knight

Further more, your idea did not mention how people who have unlocked everything are able to continue to earn Balthazar's Faction, in my thread, I proposed such an idea.

Talking with you is like talking to a brick wall. I will try once more, The NEW balthazars faction you are proposing has nothing to do with heroes faction. You've not shown any respect and you've failed to see how Hero's faction is NOT balthazars faction.

I did not propose any "NEW Balthazar's Faction".
The Balthazar's Faction mentioned in my thread is the same old Balthazar's Faction we earn in PvP Battles.

"Heroes Faction" is not my idea, it was suggested by Dougal Kronik.

Again, you did not mention how to deal with players who have already unlocked everything they can using Balthazar's Faction. The number of things you can unlock using Balthazar's Faction is limited, and once that limit is reached, that player can no longer continue to earn Balthazar's Faction.

In my thread, I have suggested that Balthazar's Faction can be used to redeem Obsidian Shards.
With such an implementation, it would mean that players can continue to earn Balthazar's Faction, even if they have unlocked everything.

I would highly suggest you change your posts to sound more respectfull instead of alluding to me negatively in the later ones.

I dont want to use pvp unlocks for shards, I do not want grenths faction, I do not care for any other change in the system.

All that I want is a title detailing, how much faction has been spent redeeming pvp unlocks.

I like the idea, but it would'nt work because(this is said already..) there's a cap to balthazar faction when you unlock everything.

Remove the Balthazaar faction cap (should have never been put in in the first place) and add those titles. Exchanging Balth factions for shards should also be possible.
