Idea?

Im not an assassin person actually, in fact im a Warrior for life =D. But anyway...I was just eating while reading some of this fourm, when i got an idea. People are constantly bashing assassin defenses (quite frankly i dont blame them, their defense does suck).. so i was thinking how would protective bond work? Sure it takes -1 energy regen(and x amount per hit), but from what im told assassins can manage energy well with crits, and it might keep em alive O_O... so yeah XD...
Pick Me
Protective Bond is a target other ally spell. So an Assassin can't use it on itself.
They can cast Protective Spirit on themselves though, but shatter enchantment will get it removed.

They changed protective bond? Considering 55/105 monks used to use bond to farm I thought it was target ally.

I'm sorry, you are correct. I was thinking of Life Bond.
I just read the Protective Bond definition and it says you lose energy each time you get hit. Since you are not always guaranteed to get a critical strike, and you don't get to use an off hand item to give you energy, I wonder how useful that would be.
Can you get Protective Bond in Factions?

While that would help a monk with an assasin, I think a better choice would be to have a ritualist in the group running Shelter and Union. Protective bond would take up a precious skill slot on a monk and drain their energy too quickly. If there is no ritualist, then protective spirit is a wiser choice imo, even though enchantments are dangerous things to rely on since they get stripped so easily.
