Guildwars Operator

Hi all...

Little question here, was at Urgoz end dungeon like 10 min ago, had lots of dirty talk with the team all along specialy at end where sum1 decided not to heal the ones who have die......including me

after some talks with the other players who started that..i get a mesage from this name " Guildwars Operator ".....full of spelling fault ( like me kinda lol )

are there any such thing ?

any1 experienced this before or i was scamed?

i have all screens to show the wolrd the situation

later all have fun

Screens are good. Typically, chat from an ANet employee is a non-standard color, but people do mess up on occasion. With bad spelling though, I would be rather suspicious about the messages validity.

GW doesn't have ingame moderation at all, atleast I haven't seen.

Report the name, isn't impersonating Anet employee a bannable offence?

Yes it is. I've seen posts in here where Gaile Gray responds to things like this asking for the ingame name and screen shots.

Now for the show.......after healing the party like a mofo......being told...do not res the monk and the the SS that was there ( me + another one ) ....its time to report this dude but with a vengence.

Any sugestions? I have all screens etc........please tell me things i can and canot do..i know i can post pictures etc with blures names ..then to who i can report the players that made an offence to Anet and its staff?

HAve fun all...this is a game.....never plan on greed to get your goals....as im ready to loose 4h of my time...as long as the time we went in..several Afks etc....at least this player will know no to do it lol. Waiting for suggestions..on a funny way to report this guy etc.

Yep, do what SylverDragon says. Also, they like it if you can include a time when it happened (with your time zone), what region you were playing in, things like that. There are in game GM's, but they have a special text color that is different and they don't generally PM you.

MMM kay i was scamed...time to report that littel kid but...i gave him all infos about my Guru name etc..he prolly erased already its GW op false name account.....

still i will post those players names at Anet...all 3 but mostly...the one who wish he was Anet staff. i swear you dont want this happen to you after 3-4h in there working like a dog.

You should never, ever disclose any account details in-game. Genuine ANet staff will never ask you for this information. I hope you don't get anything erased due to this but yeah, report this to support as soon as possible. ANet come down hard on these impersonators.

No im totaly paranoid here since im in the 1000k club.....so i change my pass and info regulary....i never had even with that dude shared personal infos......only crap talk with manners.
