Leveling your phoenix!

okay... everyone knows the trick to leveling your pet... aka... letting it kill you at a spawn point until its a lvl 20 and then charm it.... my question is.... is there a respawn point in the Divine Path so this can be done with charming a phoenix.... ty

No, you have to evolve/level it by other means then letting it kill you.

BTW, does it evolve when leveled that way?
Should get Dire, but do uncharmed pets evolve?

The pet you want to charm will level up as he kills you. When the pet reaches level 15, and takes no damage from you should turn dire when you charm him. Any uncharmed pet will not level up till he fights something.
