Do you have something like Hard Drive Mechanic running in the background? Any programs that are auto archiving your files in case of hard drive failure for back-up?

No, I would just check the programs running in the background, and try closing some of them.

I would leave the firewall and antivirus programs running. Whatever program is running exeArchive.cpp I would look at.

You could try reinstalling GW then if there's nothing else running that's causing the problem

Maybe corrupted or damaged information on the hard disk, could run a chkdsk and disk defrag.
