Boss: Melandru's Cursed
Location: Perdition Rock)
I’ve completely cleared, or so I think, Perdition Rock 3 times without coming across this boss in the last few days. I’m assuming he’s a permanent feature and not a random spawn?
Looked on various sites for the possible spawn locations and I know where he should be!
Never had this problem before so any advice would be much appreciated
Thanks

Make sure you've completed the only quest for that area. The boss spawns when the quest is active can be alittle strange.

Just get a group of henchman. Walk out the portal, run far right (ignore anything that you might agro thats patrolling the circle), run upto where the 2/3 Hydra walk back and forth. When you can see the boss spawns using Ctrl, if Melandrus Cursed aint there, map back to Ember Camp and do it again. Instead of clearing the entire area and finding he's not there, just keep checking that 1 boss spawn point over and over till he does. Takes about 1 Storm Chaser to run to it and another 5seconds to map back if he's not there.

^--what evilsod said, thats the easiest way to cap MOST skills on perdition rock, although there are some skills like obsidian flesh and quickshot that this doesnt work for (there may be others but those are the ones i know of from personal experience).

I beg to differ. You can simply run the spawn point, leave the henchman to die, who cares... really... i'd suggest going as R/E though and cap both just for unlocking purposes. I managed to cap Obsidian Flesh practically alone when i did it, just a case of killing Dark Flame Dryders, with Troll Uguent, they literraly can't kill you, they only use Shadow Strike if your above 50% health. Not to mention you can simply Distract 1 and Savage Shot your target. I just messed up a bit and got killed after i set Harn moving again, returned with only Lina alive
