Hi,

I changed my warrior/monk secondary profession to elementalist and the quests to unlock elementalist skills haven't unlocked (I read they're supposed to become available when you change secondary). With the npcs not offering the quests it means the only way to gain ele skills is to pay 1plat each which is unaffordable. Is this a bug and has anyone else found this problem?

I posted here under recommendation from the guildwars support since they say developers read these forums at times.

This is quite significant to me because I have no pvp slots and want to be able to use my warrior in pvp.

You read wrong. You cannot repeat the quests you did already with whatever secondary profession. The only way to acquire skills for your new profession now is to buy them.

There are a few profession specific quests that become available when
you change you secondary. For instance... the ele trainer in Old Ascalon
over by the Krytan Ambassador will give you a quest once you change.
There's also a ranger trainer outside Iron Hourse Mine, there are some in
towns too. You'll just have to pop into towns looking for exclamations
points over heads that didn't used to be there.

As Hephaestus Ram stated, only the profession specific quests for your new secondary will be available to you. If I recall correctly, all quests after Yaks Bend aren't profession specific. They will just give you one skill from your primary profession and one from your secondary.

If you're a warrior / monk then you could do some soloing to earn the cash to buy the skills, plus earn some skill points as well.
