my problem with luxon and kurzick

i have 10k faction for both kurzick and luxon and now i cant access either of their merchants, i heard exchanging in my faction will make me be able to access one, i want kurzick merchants, which faction do i hand in?

Wow, you really spent a lot of time, I'm sorry to tell you you wasted some of it possibly.

Try "befriending" the Kurzicks. Have you done that? It's a quest from HzH which allows you to proceed with the storyline.

Then start redeeming your Kurzick faction. (Talk to Faction Rewards to redeem for amber, Faction Transfer to donate to your alliance.) You will lose Luxon faction as you redeem Kurzick. Eventually you may get to zero, but all you have to do is have MORE Kurzick faction than Luxon in order for the Kurzicks to talk to you. So if you get to zero on both, just do one short round of Altrumm Ruins or the Kurzick Supply run to make that happen.

Well, I learned something new today too; I didn't realize you could befriend both at once.

You can befriend both at once, but so long as you have equal faction with both sides, neither will talk to you. You'll need to cash in a little faction for 1 or the other and then unbalance one or the other so you have say, 9000 luxon and 9050 Kurzick, then the Kurzick merchants will like you.

Redeeming faction of one side also causes a small loss of the other side.
