Instrument Items

The title almost speaks for itself.

There are emotes like /guitar, /flute, /violin, /drums, etc.


I think items , perhaps cheap, perhaps not that cheap, of this sort should be sold in some way, by merchants, perhaps? The pre-searing one had flutes, but those haven't been shown when doing the emote. Why not create some ? It would make the pve world at least a bit more fun.


My idea in short - Create instrument items, make them buyable or findable, and make them showable when using the correct emotes.


P.s. , I'm not sure if this kind of post has been made b4, although, you are free to put as many /signs or /unsigns as you can.

Theres a flute already but whenever I do /flute it doesn't show

That is sized for a person of Gwen's size, not yours

They would essentially have to redo every single animation to account for the items.

Especially when one of the /flutes players a clarinet/oboe like instrument :-p

I usual do /violin as soon as I get a flag, but the animation is so wrong, but it would be fun though, and some new instruments too. Maybe even choose a song. But that might be pushing it.

Slightly off-topic, but you can buy flutes post-searing also, from a couple places in Ascalon.

There's also a Jug available in Factions as well, for you Hillbilly musicmaker-types.

Seeing as the jug obviously contains magic juice, I doubt it would make much of a sound. ;]

Ehh, yeah, we're already begging for more inventory space, and you want more clutter? Let's get this "improved storage" first and then we'll talk about more junk to fill it with.

maybe if they do it so that you get a separate inventory for the instruments or that you just buy them once and they only appear when you use the emote

I like the first one more, then we might get to dye the instrumtents too

So, we wanna a few instruments, or not?

I agree that that they should give us slightly more space in our inventory or storage, too.

Well, there are those of us who have no problem whatsoever with the current inventory sizes. We aren't asking ANET to force you to use these items.

I like it. I've always wished I could use the flute offhand during the emote.
