If you have a group that knows what it's doing, the Duel of the Houses quest is also quick and easy.

AB is neither easy nor fast. There's not all that much you can do to make your chances of any winning better and it takes ages for the amount of faction you get. Haven't done Aspenwood or Quarry much but supply runs are obsenely fast faction. The run takes about 3 minutes for 400 faction, 150 gold and 2000 experience and you don't even need to waste time finding a party.
I've never tried Duel of the Houses but I hear it's pretty fast with trappers.

Scouting in Melandru's hope is also pretty quick. Just avoid the mesmer enemies who slow you down. Most of the enemies won't actually chase you far, so just outrun em. If you are having trouble, you can bring a couple of henches to trail along and distract the bad guys.

Well, because you say you are lazy and don't want to do quests, I also suggest that once you hit your 10k faction... Make sure you make the most of it.
Spend only enough faction not to waste faction that subsequent characters' primary quests will give.
In other words, pretty much make sure your entire account befriends the Kurzicks with the same 10k.

Indeed repeatable quests really put the other methods of gaining faction to shame. 2000xp, 150gp and 400 Kurzick faction for relatively simple work.
1> The (infamous) Supply Run outside House Zu Heltzer is a great way for a solo'ist to generate faction at a fast rate. Something like this:
Tactics 12 (11+1)
Strength 13 (12+1)
Charge(E), Sprint, Balanced Stance, Holy Veil, Smite Hex, Purge Conditions, Mend Ailment, Healing Signet
...should have no problems making the run. You should be averaging out at around 4 minute runs (factoring in re-zone times, etc) -- that's 15 runs per hour or 6000 faction / 6 amber an hour.
The second, more favoured way of generating faction for a group of players would be:
2> "Securing Echovald Forrest" quest starting just outside Lutgardis Conservatory, leading into Melandru's Hope.
Take 2+ or so runners set up like above and send them off to the four places. Scout the four places (avoiding fights), suicide if necessary to respawn at the the starting rez shrine and claim your reward. The difference being that up to 8 people will be claiming the reward for the quest. You'll be earning around 10k Kurzick faction an hour at least (further multiplied by the number of people in your group)
Completely absurd if you ask me -- but that's basically how it's done. I'd much rather they make both quests non-runable but boost the reward up to 500gp + 2000 Kurzick faction. Expecting people to actually fight through all these monster spawns for a mere 150gp + 400 faction is sheer naivity on Arena-net's part. Boosting up the faction gain from Fort Aspenwood/Quarry + AB's wouldn't hurt either.
If we know that a win on the Kurzick side @ Fort Aspenwood can take ~20 minutes, fighting through the above quests would now take a similar amount of time and (I hear that) AB's take around 40 minutes to finish -- it doesn't take rocket science to price the rewards appropriately.

Bane of Worlds
supply line is easy if you're a warrior or a ranger IMO
anyway the Duel of the Houses is extremely easy if you have trappers who know what they're doing
like starting the actual quest after the traps are set lol
it's a painless process also you could run for chests if you really wanted to see if the occasional chest has a gold or not
I definately agree with Man With No Name there
but I rather gain exp on my rit then my warrior tho lol

Barrage/Pet teams are actually faster than a team of trappers, since there's no prep time.
