Wow Raisu Palace is so over farmed.

Went on a chest run today in the explorable area, in 4 runs out of 12 chests all were purple. We are talkin about an end game explorable area with very hard groups to kill, and i spend 10k on purples? I suspect this is some sort of anti farming system that has kicked in seeing as last week i got 3 golds which were all very rare. I now see many people at Raisu entering the explorable area with hench or solo.

Can anything be done to simply stop the chests pouring out purples when they should be pouring out golds.

Yeh simple solution, dont overfarm.

Go complete another mission and then go back to these chests and see if your luck changes...

9/10 chests at least have been purple for me across the entire game. I don't think it's unique to Raisu Palace.

I went on a couple of chest runs there tonight after trading in my commendations, I opened 4 chests and got 2 golds and 2 purples, which is far better than my usual haul of 90% purple junk when opening chests.

uhh 1 third of all chests you farm will be golds. I have been chest famring for quite some time now and thats what its ben at. No they shouldnt make it so people get more golds from chests they wouldnt be rare anymore. Your request is crazy.

went thru Raisu Palace Explorable 4 times yesterday

8 chests .. 7 purples 1 crap gold

but 4 gold from monster drops (crappy too )
funny thing is.. got em playing with 7 henchies

You honestly think its only there? Christ have you ever opened a chest in Prophecies!!? Almost every Darkstone is Purple, 3/4 of Southern Shiverpeaks ones are, Underworld... i've never seen a gold chest drop in there out of about 50 keys.

Went to the deep all golds but the very last chest was purple.

If you farm chests in groups you take turns opening your gold rate will go up to 75%+

If you insist on farming chests solo, purple is the price you pay.

I can see it now, them making all the chests gold then you coming back 2 weeks later bitching about how the price on all the drops dropped by a lot. Quit whining, its like the lottery, but still with better odds

Lol, that's something that I can agree with. When items are hard to farm, farmers complain because they have to work too hard. When they're easy to farm, farmers complain because their "values" drop.

It's like watching a sitcom. An incredibly unfunny, yet horribly fascinating sitcom.

Oh no you don't, farming is horrible. But it's all I'm good at, and I for one will keep whining till the servers close!

Hey Haggard, take me to elite missions?

Well, when I open chests in FoW, I get upwards of 80% gold chests. The drops aren't usually that great, but sometimes they're nice. I just think people don't get excited enough to post threads on how they just opened 10 gold chests in a row, so all you see are the people who've had a string of bad luck.

How do you farm these? Just fight through the mission? Or is it an actual run?

hmmm i thought drops from mobs are affected by overfarming, not overfarming with chests?? (correct me if im wrong)

Oh so having more ppl in your group while chest farming is better?
