Quick question: does the ranger spirit Favorable Winds affect your fiends' attacks wrt flight speed and added damage?

And while I'm asking, do your minions attacks get the bonus from Winnow?

I'm pondering a N/R build.

The description of FW says "all creatures". So yes, your allies, but also your enemies get this benefit.

As for Winnowing, yes, since pets use physical attacks, as long as their target is in range of Winnowing, it will work.

I've seen these spirits used before (I've used them too) and they do work with all in the area. Just like Nature's Renewal, Muddy Terrain, Symbiosis, Primal Echos, Fertile Seasons, Energizing Winds, and Edge of Extinction.

Throw a bunch of enchantments on a warrior/necromancer (including any spell that increases health) and use Fertile Seasons and Symbiosis. You'll see lots of health on that character.

So for the purpose of flight speed and damage increase under FW, bone fiends shoot arrows?

I don't believe they do... shoot arrows. They fire a projectile of some sort, but I don't think they're arrows. I doubt FW will increase their damage.

Winnowing affects the creature being hit, so anyone/thing being hit by physical damage will be affected. So in effect, your minions will do more damage (as will everyone else in the spirit's range).

Is there a definitive answer on this? I'm pretty sure I've seen fiends gain the benefit from Conflagration. That is, whatever they're shooting has fire on it like my bow attack.

fiend's projectiles are not 'arrows'. so no they're not affected by FW.
