Adding Categories in the Friends Window?

How useful would that be?

Because my friends window has a lot of people on and sometimes I don't even know who those people are! Sometimes is somebody I have met, other times is somebody that I need to trade something with, some other times is somebody that lives nearby and pvp's a lot.. You know..

So I think Arena Net should include an option to insert Categories like:
(follow me as I do the steps! :P )

*pushes the buttom "Create New Category" in the Friends Window
*new category appers on friends window
*name new tab as "Buyers"
*drag a dude named "I luv to buy" to "Buyers" category

And so on...

That would be much better and organized! So please Arena Net, do something like this! =)

I like it! I can't even count the number of times I open my friends list and can't remember who these people are. Sure I recognize someof the names, but occasionally there's a name on there of someone I sold something to a month ago and forgot to delete. Of course there's always the greatest buddy list ever, in game just press "G".

I agree there needs to be a more specific friends list.

Where I can post *NOTES* next to thier name. So I can remember who they are and what class they are, and if they are Male or Female(Real Life).

Until this day I will use a note pad and a pen. I'll write down thier names with good old reliable Pen & Paper.

Yeah, the ability to categorize or add notes to names.

Some I've added because they are the best monks ever (well, about 80% of my friends list are monks ha ha), and others from good parties or whatever. But I can't remember who's who, or which mission we worked on, and I've had to delete to make room for new buddies.

Ok what I really want as a minimal upgrade to the friends window is the class and lvl of the PC.

Nothing more irritating than needing to fill one more spot on a team and having all kinds of friends on that you don't remember class or lvl, or they are playing alts whom you haven't played with.

Please, please, please add friends and guildy class and lvl next to names in the guild and friends list.

Categories would be a good thing, but the notes alone would make me buy the expansion as I tend to forget quite fast.

Or more ideally when you add a person to your friends list it should say what class they are next to their name! I mean it already tells us what their name is and ever other guild character is, so class as well?

And there is no way to ask everybody on your friends list if they want to do something

categories, notes and better if friendlist shows the professions beside the friend's name.. professions should be updated autmoatically if the person changed their secondary.. and with the last login time would be perfect..

Yeah! I posted this quite a while ago... before these updates and all, always waiting for this sugestiong to be accepted by GuildWars staff... =\\

Hopefully they will read this someday and see how usefull it would be if this feature is available in the game

I think it is going to be very useful and all... I have been waiting for this to come after the last big update, but nothing!
