new factions interview

and by areas intended for ascended characters, does he mean viz square (foreign quarter)?

Ascended character areas = UW/FoW. I don't know exactly when a Factions character is considered "ascended" though, since you can enter UW/FoW through ZKC. :\

a "faction ascended" character is whoever does the nahpui quarter mission, wich i think is the fourth mission.

Think about what "Closer to the Stars" really means. Its the... um... messed up pseudo-asian way of saying "Ascended". What interests me is how the various forms of ascension will figure into the later chapters of Guild Wars.
