LF tips for healing - bonding in FoW

Hi everyone, well finally finishing up on some titles for a few chars, I decided I would like to go back to monking. Hmm, I would like to be prepared before I head down though, a place I would like to explore is FoW. As long as I've been playing.. I just never actually went down there much. o.O So it would be great if you can tell me what you use for your pure heal build, and your bonding build. Strictly FoW build, even though I'm sure it works in other areas. With attri, I usually would run with 16 heal, 11 df, 4 prot, and rest in inspiration.

Skill bar - orision, heal touch, dwaynas, WoH, party, mend cond, inspired hex, and rebirth. Also, would running OoB in Fow be a bad choice? I was pretty comfortable, the 20% sac doesn't really scare me as I don't believe aggro should be on me in first place. Of course I wouldn't use it when mobs are on me. I really haven't ran as a bonder before, so tips on this would be great as well.

Ah my weopon set atm just consists of

Healing Rod 11-22 dmg (req 9 df) +5 energy ^ 50% 20% cast speed using healing spells 12 energy (req 9 heal) 20/20

Back up set 9-16 dmg Holy rod +15 energy - 1 reg 27 energy 30 hp -1 reg heal offhand.

I also have my beautifull cryst sword 20% enchant slapped on, but I usually use that when I 55. I usually don't have an enchant on skill bar when healing, sometimes seed.

Thanks in advance for any help/tips.

For bonding, I run a heal hybrid as I dont like to wait on 2 other monks, which most PUGs feel you need.

Mend Condition
Remove Hex
Infuse Health / Gift of Health / Dwayna's Kiss
Heal Party
Aegis
Blessed Signet
Life Bond
Balthazar's Spirit

Note, no rez. Your job is to keep people alive - just make sure that if the fan is starting to take on a brown color, you arent the last one standing.

you might want to take another hex remover in place of inspired hex since the Shadow Beasts like to cast spiteful spirit and there's usually one near each mob.

also, when healing in FoW, i find that i don't need any energy management, but that's a matter of personal preference really.

when i bond i run the following:
Prot - 16
DF - 15
Insp - 3

Aegis/Prot spirit/Guardian/anything you like really
Signet of devotion
Mantra of inscriptions
Blessed signet
Life barrier
Life Bond
Balthazar's spirit
Rebirth

cast life barrier + life bond on the tanks, life bond on the rest of the party, balthazar's spirit on yourself and mantra of inscriptions when needed. just stay at the back of the party out of aggro range and you should be fine ^^ till the bonds get stripped by certain mobs x.x

I'm a little confused by your post, are you implying that you use this build for the FoW as the only monk in the group? If so, how do you manage to get away with using Infuse health? You don't have any self heals outside of Heal Party. Further, those spells are going to burn through your energy quickly, even with Life Bond + Balth spirit combo, which incidentally will be givining you dmg, not much, but it will add up. Even if you had a second monk in the group I don't think I would run with this build as a bonder hybrid.

Since I'm not too crazy about bondage in FoW I run a healing build that goes like this: 16 healing, 10 inspiration, 9 divine favor. The skills are as follows: orison, kiss, ethereal light, hands, seed, power drain, inspired hex and rebirth. You can run into some energy problems when fighting mobs that have no casters and don't use hexes. But I'm just fine 99% of time spent in FoW.

in fow i'll bond with a mo/me

prot 16
divine 10
inspiration 9

life barrier
mantra of inscriptions
blessed sig

and that's it. this is something Icemonkey posted a while back. as he said at the time, life bond won't help with some damage in fow. so bond everyone with barrier, keep mantra up at all times and spam blessed sig.

i'd take hex removal, mend condition, reversal and gaurdian.
